Looking around town, I see quite a few white LS's on the streets, was curious what color yours is?

Over the weekend I watched a local news report saying green and brown cars are most likely to be in auto accidents. And a silver colored car the least likely to be involved. Take it for what it's worth... a local news story.

In a Feng Shui book read many moons ago...if I recollect right, white is power and safety. I don't mind it.

When I went in to buy mine, the only other color on the lot was a gun metal with a burgundy interior. No Blue, black, or champagne.

There maybe something to this, I think because the colors may blend into the scenery.I had a couple of close ones where people did not even see me,so I made a DLR's conversion and it seemed to help.

You been doing that Back to the Future thing at 88 MPH again? You know when you hit that speed, you are invisible. . The daytime running lights are interesting. You commented that you tied into the seat heater junction for that one?

The white LS's are the color of choice here...nothing like going out to the parking lot to have to find your car by rememebring the license plate.

Here is a chart with all the available paint codes for 1996. Mine is actually "Ebony Teal Pearl" which is an extremely dark green. I haven't seen that many LS's in my specific year with that paint but I am sure they exist. Everyone thinks it's black but it's not.

That is A LOT of color choices!

I'd like to get a brochure for the '97 but I've not found any so far.

Today I was at the Cerritos Lexus and they had a range of colors to choose. There was a first gen sitting in the showroom. I think this may be the one we'd talked about sometime back, it is immaculate inside and out.
