It looks like a useless component to me. Just another in the long line of automotive scams. The claim of "14 horsepower" is insane. Perhaps he also sells Tornados and muffler valves.
Don't even think about it.

But other than the supposed 14 HP gain, I know it does use electricity more efficiently and might produce a fraction of HP not 12,

Given that modern cars use sensors and other electronic devices that are reading and transmitting microvoltages, the idea that one of those cars is insufficiently "grounded" is ridiculous. The factory ensures that the system has the correct resistance in it and that the resistance is reliable over time. That the seller claims a horsepower increase at all indicates he has no knowledge of electrical theory or physics. He is a flim flam artist of the worst kind.
There is simply no benefit, except that he may sell a product which does nothing and makes him a profit.

I have heard about these kits with other cars, they all claim a slight gain in HP. These kits just upgrade the ground wires and add more ground points. I have never seen an actual comparison that proves this type of kit provides a gain in HP. If you know anything about electricity you know that this kit is probably a waste of money. I personally think that this is a purely aesthetic gain.

Not worth the time to install it unless you show off your engine bay all the time.
