Talking

Yes, yes, yes! I knew the truth would finally come out for the world to see. In my recollection, the auto magazines have always favored the germans a bit when reviewing cars in this class. Looks like that trend is over. This is great!

Not only does it use the hepa filtration, but it shines this ultra-violet light through the air coming in, which is supposed to kill bacteria, mold spores, etc.

Just to add a lil bit, The J.D. Power&Associates acknowledged Lexus LS as the most reliable premium Luxury car.

Great work! And the last LS 400 actually was #1 too in Car and Driver. Then it dropped to #2 cause the 740 came equipped with the sport kit. The LS 430/400 has always faired real well in their comparisions.

Default optical deodorizer

I am a little confused. The lexus brochure makes it sound like the optical deodorizer may be an an option (on the UL). Is it an option or standard on all LS 430s?

Unbelievably impressive. And obviously C&D keeps a car for a few weeks and turns it in which is why the Germans have inevitably done well. When you factor in the total ownership experience, the LS is one impressive car. Probably at least a couple of years away from trading in one of the GS's but I almost have myself already talked into an LS.

Without trying to enhance my less than sterling opinion about bimmers, isn't it amazing how fast the 7 has aged. Doubt the rushed restyle is going to help much.

On the downside - can Lexus get too adventurous with future models if the current owners like the track of the current models as much as we do? When you convince yourself you need a radical change you can wind up with Crown Prince Bangle and quite possibly a few steps backward.

Still, for the LS to top that list in C&D is just very impressive.
