RPM & Speed needles, sometimes do not move
1993 LS400 130,000 miles.
Here is the problem:
RPM & Speed needles light up fine. But, sometimes do not move until after I have driven for a while. Some other times, one will work perfectly and other will not. At times, it appears it has to do with car's operating temperature (cold). But, I can't say that I actually know particular steps to recreate or solve the problem.
Off course, just like any other Lexus I do have that intermittent instrument cluster (does not light up) problem but only in extreme cold weather. Houston, TX I can live with that. Not too many cold days.
Any ideas?

I just bought a 93 LS400 with the same problem. I had a 97 LS400 that had a similar issue but only with the speedometer. I live in Florida and the "cold" issue mentioned often about these clusters and the boards just seem to be a moot point. "Cold" may relate to the engine warmup but what you described happens intermittently throughout a drive even after the engine warms up. Would also like to know what the problem is and how to fix it. To me, it seem inherent in the Lexus LS400. Any comments and direction is greatly appreciated.
