SC 7000K's
ive seen a pair of 7000k lites on ebay and was wondering if they would be too powerful for a standard 5000k stock on a stock SC300 (year 92). in other words any dangers in putting them in?

The reference to the 7000K describes the color of the output, not intensity (or lumens.) The 7000K capsules will have a more bluish, purple output v. your 5000K's, which will depend on how much your's have colorshifted. You will also lose some usable light with the 7000K's. I would recommend going with 6000K Philips Ultinons or less.

i have some aftermarket 5100k ones that are kinda nice blu wise but not much output of light. Where can i get the 6000K Philips Ultinons and how much?

send a PM to lexusaristo. He has a source that has the entire kit for ~$460. Otherwise, you could try HID-Online, which has the same Philips kit for around $600.

Don't go over 6000K, it will look very illegal.
