Very clean and colorful cutoff....that flilckering you see when they go over speed bumps or dips.

Would I be safe to assume that the Projectors from the SC430 would be a direct fit on the SC400 due to it being also an SC ?
no, unless you have seen the projector in person i wouldn' t purchase it yet. just because the lens part looks small doesn't mean the reflector(back of the projector lens) is small. for example. the Honda s2000. the projector part is small but the reflector part in the back in HUGH

Probably...but with major modification anything's possible however Toyota did us all a favor when they designed the not so user friendly headlamps in their older model projector based cars

Here's mine

A little flickering action lol

I did this one earlier in the summer and since then I've improved the cuttoff some more by bringing it a little together and sharpened the edges.

My guess is that your beam pattern apprears blurry because of 2 reasons

1. The bulbs may be out of focus on the projector meaning they're not sitting in the right way

2. Your headlamp lense is seriously screwing up your beam pattern

problem #1 is easy to fix. Just open up the hood and remove the bulbs and reinsert them properly with the return wire on the bottom.

if and only if you have problem #2
post a pic of your retro with the projectors shining the beams without them being in the actual headlamps and let's see what they look like. This will better tell us if you're experiencing problem #2.

I've seen other SCs retroed and neither have looked like the pic you posted. Therefore I'm thinking its problem #1

SC430 projectors have a similar body to that of the S2k projectors and will NOT be able to fit into the SC housing without some extreme measures...already tried

E39 and E46 seem to be the easiest to fit so far...

Here's my E46 retro with Xenon shrouds...
