HID lighting: 2002 IS300 HID in a 1998 SC300

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone knows if a 2002 IS300 HID ballast and bulb will fit in the housing unit of my 1998 SC300? Will I need to purchase a new projector housing for this upgrade or will all be hunkydory?

Will not fit...They use either D2R or D2S bulbs...You have a 9006 housing and will not fit D2R or D2S bulb..Your best bet is to retrofit...

Hi One HoT SC400,

Where would I get one of these retrofit applications? I am quite new to this HID stuff. Can you recommend a shop that sells these retrofit kits? Will I need anything else to add HID to my car?
