Although in theory the 4100K are brighter than the 6000K, I think the difference is almost unnoticeable to the human eye. I love my 6000K. Much improvement over halogen with a hint of blue like BMW/Audi/Acura. With 6000K you get plenty of brightness and a distinct look without being ricer. I have had nothing but great comments about my 6000K HIDs.

Agreed!! A camera will never capture the real color of hid, so 6000K will look purplish or blue digitally..

BMW/Audi/Acura OEM HID doesnt have any blue/purple tint in their lights..
if you stand behind the light, its pure white, which is 4300k
The blue/purple tint you're talking about is the color when you see the car coming towards you..
Its only like that because of the projectors.
As the car comes closer, you can see that the light is white.

Here's a picture.

240sx has reflector.
Some people color blind? some like that blue color? i dunno..

I got the 4100K Philips kit from Hid-online and the color is literally greenish/yellow. My digital camera was even able to pick it up with the stark contrast between them and the 6000K led wedge bulbs I have. Long story short, I'm working with HID-Online right now to swap them for 6000K bulbs. I think we're close to a fair resolution which I'll post here after it's settled.

Get the 6000K.
