Help with Morimoto HID kit from Retrofitsource. 5 Ballasts Replaced already.
Hi all,
I have a Morimoto kit that I purchased from RS. It was working fine for 2 years, but the pass year I have been having issues.
I have already replaced 5 ballasts and this might be my 6th one coming up. One side stopped working and that was replaced 4 times. It's now finally working, but the other side stopped. They replaced with another one and now it stopped working after about a week. RS just keeps sending replacements, but that's it.
Any ideas?

Rich - TRSMatt here. If you've had 5+ replacements within the last couple years and another one too, we typically would suggest replacing the harness running the ballasts since it sounds like there's probably another root cause for the parts going bad prematurely. Either that, or a simple "incompatibility" between the ballasts and your electrical system. Every now and then we'll encounter a car that just eats parts of one kind for some reason and likes something else better. Reach out to us today at 404-220-7940 and let the agent know of the long term symptoms, ask for a new harness & possibly a different style ballast. We'll get you taken care of man, so sorry for the issues!

Rich - the lazy answer is yes, thats still a solution. My goal is to help you avoid the problem going forward all together. On behalf of TRS, I apologize for the issue and inconvenience in the first place! we'll get you taken care of the right way.
