Default 2002 IS300 LED headlight bulb?

I want to swap out the stock low beam bulbs for some LED. I was wondering what size LED bulb will fit my car? Will this LED bulb fit my car, link is below. Thanks.

While our 2002 Lexus IS300 Lighting Guide is broken up a bit by model type, it seems to show that the Low Beams are factory HID with D2R-style bulbs. Those ones you linked from eBay are for replacing H7 halogens - you are probably going to want to be sure of what you have in your vehicle right now before you go ahead with making any changes or conversions.

If you are running D2R HID Bulbs, you are really better off just getting new bulbs if you need something different. Even if you can find some sort of D2R to LED conversion, you would most likely be looking at a lighting Downgrade, because HID is by far the brighter technology at this point.

Good afternoon.

I have a '02 also and installed some smoked aftermarket lenses since the originals were pretty clouded.

BUT, even comparing the new smoked to the old cloudy ones, the cloudy ones seemed to be better coverage.
The smoked ones CAN'T have that much of a dimming quality. (One would think the clouded was blocking more usable light compared to the smoked ones)
Or maybe it's just the cheap ebay bulbs that I got.. Son says that they (the IS) are bright when I'm driving behind him in his jeep, but to me his cheap square cherokee bulbs put out more coverage. Also, I have IPF squares in my '95 2500 truck with 80/100 bulbs that have really spoiled me.
Can these HID's be acquired in a higher wattage?
I live out in the rural country and 'critters' tend to be meandering along the roads late at night while coming home from work.
Also, used a cordless drill (on slow) to adjust the beam pattern against my garage,so I know they're aimed well and I don't want to bother on-coming traffic like these goobers in their lifted trucks..

Yeah, kinda long winded, but wanted to give as much info for a good application choice.
So, are there any better choices?
Thanks E

Can't message you since I don't "DO" social media. Hope you get this.

Check your owner manual for the bulb sizes or remove the bulb and the size should be on the bulb somewhere

Make sure to get leds that have a slim profile to make the light pattern similar to oem
