9aristo is correct, they are LEDs. To my eyes the LED headlamps seem to be a bit cooler (color temp wise) than the old hids. If I had to guess, I would guess 5000K.

They are mostly LED headlamps in the US model, however some are HID's depending on region you've purchased your vehicle. Easiest way to find out is if your headlights are dual projectors, they are LED headlights; if single, HID's.
