Then I took out the orange corner lens and cleaned the glass projector lenses. These things were VERY, VERY DIRTY!!! If anyone feels their headlights just aren't producing enough light, you might just need to CLEAN these lenses!

Then I put the housings back into the oven for 12 minutes to resoften the silicone. I took some Silicone II and lined the entire housing and put them back together for a pretty nice final. I also used some clear plastic polish to make em pretty.

Thanks! You know, it only took me 3 hours to do the whole thing. I did it on my Acura too, so I've had a little experience.

Great Job .Great pix of the process and finished product.
Having just replaced the headlights on my SC I can appreciate what you have done. You must be way more talented than me because I would not have categorized the removel of my headlights as "very easy". In fact I was relieved that I was only putting new ones in and not having to go through the cleaning step.
Congrats

The '95 ES300 only has 3 bolts to remove and the thing just pops right out. No need to remove the bumper like my Acura. Maybe the SC is a bit different.

Thoes headlights look so good it brings tears to my eyes.

You shoulda hooked em up with that angel eyes mod 2 for the ultimate "baller" effect!

I guess in my state its against state law to not have orange reflectors on the front...kinda bites....

Id do it anyway tho..haha

Edit: Seattle ES300, How did you get the grill on your CL? Did you get that wire mesh from Home Depot and tie it in? Ive been thinking of doing that to my Jimmy's grille...(I cant afford a phantom)

Thanks for the compliments. The grill is just gutter guard from the local hardware. There are a couple of different types you can buy. I used the thinner type, but small rocks can ruin it easily. The thicker kind is more durable but is harder to fit...at least with my grill's contour. Anyway, $4.99 is worth a try.
