Daytime Running Light - one side comes on with Delay
Friends, I need your help!
I recently changed the LOW BEAMS and FOG LIGHTS in my 2010 LX570 with high quality 35W HID headlight bulbs (both H11 type). Both sets came with ballasts which were very stable. I choose 5000K color for both. I couldn't be happier with their brightness and whiteness.
However, after the bulbs were installed I started having an issue with my daytime running lights (DRL) - bulb type 9005 - which works as the high beams as well.
When I turn off the HID headlights, after they have been on for a while, the DRL light on the driver side comes on right away but the one on the passenger side comes on few seconds later.
When I turn on the headlights but turn them off after just few seconds both DRL come on at the same time. It's only when the headlights been on for a while there's delay on one side.
First, i thought it was the bulb but even when I tried Sylvania 9005 bulbs, which I bought to replace the factory ones for more whiter light, the same happened.
I'm not an expert in vehicle electronics and I have no idea why this is happening.
Does anyone have any clue? I would much appreciate your advices / comments.
