Default Interior LED DIY with bulb Part Numbers (SC300/400)

Okay guys,

I've spent two days reading every freaking LED thread there is for our cars. This little DIY is only going to be for the following: TRAC Switch (98 gated), Vol/ Temp assembly, Hazard Switch, Climate back lighting, glove box, driver's floor and shifter surround (98 gated). So far I have replaced all of the above with LED's except the climate back lighting. That will be done tonight and documented. I'll be taking some better pics but I'll post these as of right now.

All LED's were bought at superbrightleds.com. This is what I bought:

NEO3-W (Cool White) low impedence (T3)
These bulbs go in the vol/temp assembly and hazard switch (Put the red boot on LED
for hazard switch)

NEO4-W (Cool White) low impedence (T4)
TRAC switch (98 gated shifter)

NEO5-W (Cool White) low impedence (T5)
Climate Control

74-WHP (Cool White)
Driver's floor light, glove box and shifter surround (98 gated shifter). All of these had to have the recepticles trimmed down with my dremel to fit properly. Wasn't a big deal though, I'll post pics of the mod.

I tried replacing the LED for the clock adjustment/odometer/trip but whenever you put any other type of bulb in it it lights up blue. I tried three different types of bulbs before I put the factory one back in. Pic is with LED installed that I removed.

Good work Shane. I had to trim down the white insert piece on the mileage/clock LED. It would not fit properly without it being filed down a bit. I was after the blue look anyway, so I had no probelm with it. I wonder why it still light up blue regardless of the type of LED you installed???

Mark,

I have no idea. I took it all the way a part and still don't have any idea. Put factory bulb back in and it's fine. Still looks good.
