RX300 HID's
 

Has anyone noticed that the factory HID's on the RX300 have a strange bulb shield that makes the bottom part of the beam yellow (almost like a yellow fog)? You really notice it when the clear plastic headlight cover is dirty. The light coming out of the top part of the light is the traditional whitish/blue and then there's a narrow band of light coming out of the bottom of the light that is yellow. I noticed it on all of the RX300's, but on none of the other Lexus models. Any idea why Lexus did this?? Strange.

i think that has to do with out the HID bulb's are based. i have that yellow on my projector HID too. and they are OEM from a 5 series. its just a litle bit of yellow on the top but you can't see it unless you park against a wall really close
