I have a 2nd gen gs and with my window tints sometimes its hard to see when backing up at night. I currently have some leds in there, but they are just not bright enough. I used to have the v-leds plate frame with the leds which was very bright, but due to poor design the frame corroded and almost all the leds burned out. What is my best and brightest option? Is a cree led the way to go?

you can use HID also but you need a power source to power up the ballast
Its bright as hell! used it on my Q45 before

You think those are brighter than the cree? I have similar leds in there now and yea looking at them they are bright, but i need bright useful light when backing up.

 

I grabbed the 2.5w projector LEDs, should be getting them in tonight hopefully. I can't wait to see how they look.
