Question '95 SC 300 Taillight assembly - ?

Hi, I hope I'm doing this right.. I read the rules and think this is okay. I'm in the Lighting section, so that's at least correct...lol - anyway, I have a crack in my driver's side taillight and didn't know water was residing inside. My taillight was out and took to shop - they told me the plugs (not sure what to call them) that hold the bulb have corroded and they can't replace, I need to get a new tail light lense assembly, with harness...? They can get me one from Lexus shop in Dallas, for approx. $250 + shipping and then labor. Thought I would check here first for direction, as you all are always helpful!

If I'm not posting correctly, its not on purpose... Sorry to say this female is just lost in and around the garage!!

Thanks, after posting here someone mentioned ebay, i forgot about searching there...duh - so i did and they have several listing anywhere from $50-$100. They are for 300/400 and say they are inner-changeable. I just have to find out if they have the 'harness' with them...as the mechanic requested....whatever a harness is! lol

thank you so much for the offer!!!! Have a great weekend!

Hi Greens14. I'm new to this forum. I have a similar problem that cochisecc has. I still can't figure out how water is getting into the passenger side taillight, but now the plugs are corroded so I have to replace the wiring harness. Do you know where I can find a replacement for a 1994 SC300 tail light wiring harness ?

Well, to finish off my story - I bought the light and harness for $96 on ebay...It matches my other tailight, whereas a couple that were cheaper were off just a bit...Thanks so much for the help greens14!! Keep a weather eye out - with her age, I'll be back!!! lol

(the water on my assembly was getting in because of almost invisible crack on taillight - you may want to start with ebay...)
