I like the older style w/ the chrome waaaaay better! But I don't think that really addresses my issue. It's actually the two circular lenses within the casing that seem to be hazy. I think I need to open the housing just to wipe them clean.

Do you mean the actual lenses of the projectors?

I like the 95-96's better. I guess it's all on taste, but yea, it's sorta kinda sporty in a way with the darker and lines, kinda Type R looking.

I don't know if they were made different, or well maintained (how do you polish the inside of a headlight?) or what. it kind of seems like it is regardless of the model year, cuz i see some shiny 92-94, and the others are not shiny 92-94. which come to think of it doesnt make much sense. call me crazy what not, those are my observations. if anyone else has noticed this, please reassure me that i am not "seeing things." and btw, i dont think i have seen any shiny kind in year 95-96.
sorry, i answered mezooms question about that. yeah, for the inside projector lenses, mine were amazingly clear. i used some "invisible glass" glass cleaner and a no lint cloth to clean mine. just wiped them down. crystal clear....

What do you guys think about painting the mirrored headlight housing glossy black? I i'm going to take my headlights apart again so i can reseal them properly. Might as well kill 2 birds with one stone.

i was thinking about this too. i think it makes a difference if you use matte black or glossy black. i think manaray did this a while ago. check some threads around he has pics of it. i think it was him.

I think black headlight housings would look good on a dark colored car (isn't your car emerald green?). On a lighter car, they would look out of place.

would it affect the total light output at all?? perhaps less reflection (I know it's a projector beam, but still, every little bit helps)
