Help with Lexus SC300 License Plate Lights
I got stopped by a cop because he said I didn't have any lights on my License plate.
The SC300 bulbs for the license plate are '168'
Is there a way to buy the LED bulbs from the Lexus Dealership?
I want to get the LED color like the ones on the new IS models.
It has like that bright white bulb look.
All help is appreciated!
Thanks

Ya I wanted the same thing, I went to Lordco (..I know, I know..) and bought 'white' lights, and they came out very blue. I hated it, looked like rice.
Then I went to an aftermarket lighting shop and bought actual white LED's. They plugged them in on site and they defiantly looked white, but when I put them into my car theyre still kinda blue (not like the 2IS at all) and extremely bright (but tonnes better than the Lordco ones)..
When I asked the local Lexus dealership the guy said they'd have no idea to tell what kinda light is in the 2IS (bs I say).
Anyways my point is, just find any aftermarket shop and they should be able to hook you up. No scene going thru the hassle of ordering online, and it not being what you wanted.
