City Light DRL's Not Functioning After LED Swap?
 

I noticed yesterday that after swapping my incandescent City Light DRL's for the LED equivalent, that they don't come on during the day like they are supposed to. I did notice, however, that they do come on when the lights are on, so they are getting power, just doesn't seem like they are getting power at the lower wattage. Any thoughts as to what's causing this?:uh:

That may indeed be the case, but I'm talking about the City Light, not the lower wattage of the high beams.

city lights comes on when turn on the headlight switch.mines does not come come until you turn on the switch.they dont light up in the day.the drl comes on during startup.the center bulb.

same here for 02 GS3, my city light noted above never illuminates without physically turning on the headlight switch to the first click up. the bulb behind that "highbeam" comes on at 50% power the second you place the vehicle into gear.

Same with my 2004 GS430 - city lights only come on when the headlights are switched on.

Well, that solves that then... No more DRL's for me, I guess... :D
