it wont affect your light output bc the headlights are projectors and dont rely on reflection of the light like other cars. i painted my lights with no problem
NO..in fact painting it other than chrome will increase your output not because of more power LOL, but because there are less glare. If you look at newer cars, you can see most of them have black housing, or at least parts around the reflector or projector to minimize glare. Some of them have a silver painted color which does the same thing.
what color is your car? , you should paint it the same color as your car

I'm really worried about the D.R.L's since i just got some nice L.E.D.'s for them and they're not projectors like the lowbeams so i'm thinking it'll look weird.
