96 ES 300 Fuel needle out - help
So I changed to blue LED bulbs on the dashboard and they look friggin' awesome (thx Lexucan & all the others who contributed to that thread over the years)
.
Everything lit up, but the fuel needle. The area behind it 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, full is now in blue, but the needle is dead/not lit and is at the absolute bottom, way beneath E.
"Whatthehellhappened?" the perplexed driver said to himself. Took out dash, took off white protective piece and found the screws may not be tight
. I didn't want to tighten too much and break anything, so I left 'em a tick over hand tight. So I snugged everthing up and now everything works.
Just sharing this silly story in case anyone else may come across this simple, yet kinda dumb dilemma
and be scared something is broken. It isn't, but be sure the screws are in tight enough to do their job.
