Default 98 gs4 Will there be a problem with d2c bulb

I have factory hid and im going to goto 6000k bulbs. I have seen some that are d2c which means they can work in projector or reflector headlights i assume. Are these fine to buy or better to buy one that is d2r. I was also thinking with d2c if i later decide to do projector retrofit i wont have to buy new bulbs.

D2C will be a direct fit as it has both the notches for reflector and projector based setup. However, it doesn't seem like the D2C has the ceramic coating that the D2R has. I'm not sure how well they're compatible with reflector setups, but they look okay for projectors.

They work fine for projectors, you'll get a little glare in reflectors.
