VLED's 27SMT 194 Wedge
 

Anybody bought these yet? Looks like their 9SMT 194 got phased out....

They have 11SMT and 27SMT versions out now...

I'm curious as to the intensity of light of these newer models.

If so, let me know the dimensions of these bulbs, their website doesn't show anything in the specs page.

The 27 SMT will fit in the 2IS city light housing?

It looks a lot longer then the 9SMT (what I currently have installed right now).

Can you tell me the dimensions?

I am thinking about the get some VLEDs for turn and break lights. Are VLED products has built-in load resisters, or I have to order the additional load resisters on their web site as well? BTW, my application is GX470

you have to buy the additional load resisters on their website. i have LED on my brake light. i get the warning. so i just ordered the additional load resisiter. waitint for it to come in now

this makes me sad. i just had llama put in the 9smt. now i want the 27!

I was thinking about doing the same, but i then decided screw it haha it doesnt need to be that bright. It took me like 45minutes to install my 5LED and i ended up losing 1 bulb.

Ok to answer my own question, I emailed them... here's their response:

Will these fit in the 2003 GS300 parking lights? Does anyone have any pictures with these installed? I really like the way they look.

How much brighter are they compared to the stock bulbs?

I'd hate to be the dirver to blind others in their rear view mirrors

I wonder if they'll fit in the door lights of a 2IS?

^^ I believe it should make it... although the flank LED"s may work better for the door lights on the 2IS though.

Would these fit in the parking lights of an SC300 / SC400?

i have the 11SMT version in my doors, lic plate, and trunk with a 6LED dome light. Im going to take pics ASAP.
