will HID's in stock projectors blind oncoming traffic?
So, i think the stock sc400 lighting is pretty bad, when other cars come behind me i get a shadow in front of me where my own lights are shining. I know that a retrofit is optimal, but out of current budget. I've been told that an HID conversion with stock projectors will give more light, but i definately want to be sure about safety and not blind oncoming traffic. I mean the original halogeon projectors have a certain cut-off as to not blind the traffic, so will it work with HID bulbs?

Most people will tell you it does, but with mine i have to get to the same level as my lights in order for me to be blinded, so unless your driving a lotus or similar car that sits really low, i dont think you need to worry about blinding others.

which ones did you use?

the stock projectors have 2 plates insidethe projectors.. The standard bottom cut off line and another half moon type piece on the top. This makes the projects not blinding but what I find is the HID light output on these stock projectors is ****. I want to remove the half moon piece on top and see how it is but I just havent come around to doing it yet.
