need some reliable 8000k hid's !
 

I need some reliable 8000k hid d2r bulbs. I have purchased a pair on E-bay(what a joke) & they were blue, now they look sorta pale blue & the pass.side flickers. I know that philipps & osram (the two largest bulb manufactures) don"t make a bulb over 6000 kelvin. but i do want a true blue but reliable 8000k bulb. any suggestions??? any body try the xenon depot 8000k bulbs ??

Well I had bought a McCulloch HID kit on eBay a while back and have never had any problems with them. Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

don't know much about 8000k bulbs but you should be getting reliable ballasts like philips or oem. 6000k looks good in my opinion. are you sure you want 8000k, they look too blue??

think i will find a good pair of 6000k. anybody use xenon depot ?? i think i want to purchase a 9006 kit for the fogs. i don"t know if i want the yellow bulbs(3000k) or 6000k.

soon, im going to order the McCulloch HID kit 6000k, since i have a pearl white gs and i wanted something to match. i didnt really like the blue ones. i believe they were the 8000k(forgot). you could get the McCulloch HID kit pretty cheap for around maybe no more than 300? maybe $275 shipped. read many reviews about it and it works pretty good. not many problems with it. its way cheaper than xenon depot. :D
