Default Help on Gen4 Ballast

Hey guys,

I have a problem. I bought a pair of gen4 ballasts from xenondepot.com. The problem is I don't know how they're going to fit into the regular D2S plug (bulb to ballast). With the ballasts came the plug that goes into the ballast, but that's connected to a black box that switches into 2 different plugs. Xenondepot says that it's designed for a rebased bulb. But when I looked over the regular D2S plug and the connections, i just don't see how to get it to work. Any ideas? did a regular D2S plug come with gen4 ballasts? if so where can i get it?

Here's what i use now for my headlamps:

and here's what the gen4 looks like:

so as you can see in the second pic of the wire that comes with the ballast, the red tab is what goes into the rectangular plug (top plug in pic) and the two wires are for a rebased bulb, how can i get that to the regular plug as shown in the first pic?

Thanks,
Anthony

*edit for pics

in order to conenct to your d2s bulb, you need to have the first type. that's the original factory plug. the second one they are all "aftermarket" from what i know

umm, can you just cut the current plug off the current ballast and connect it to the new ballast?

can't because in the second set of pics, the connector to the ballast is rectangular. and i'm thinking that extra set of wires with the black box may be the ignitor. looks like i may have to use these:

now i just gotta make sure these plugs will fit the xenondepot plugs.

if not you can just splice the wires and connect them directly
