Philip ultinon bulbs had pigtails, or not?
I saw some picture had pigtails, and some not. So which one is the real deal?

Philips HID Ultinion are typically a D2R or a D2S type capsules, therefore they have no "pigtails"!
|
What about the rebased ultinon? From what I see on kwimports and xenondepot, It look like that they had "pigtails".
|
I am not sure about the actual products from Xenondepot, but looking at the products from Kwimports it appears that the capsule packaging is not 'Philips' brand, leading me to believe that they use a generic type capsule.

any pics of the bulbs on kwimports? i would like to take a look too

Actually the KW bulbs are authentic. He just uses bulbs that are rebased on 9006 or what ever you are using. You can tell thats its authentic because of the bluish purple gorund lead and the glass capsule inside. Also the way the ground is connected to the capsule. Its 1 wire hat has perfect 90* bends. I had his kit for my fogs. The original based bulb in the pic uses the standerd D2 connector and the bulbs with the "pigtails" use the connectors made for the hid kit to go to the special ballasts which are also philips or hella ballasts.
