Dome light wires
I thought about that and when i open my door only one door side lights up. Soldered both sides into one wire already and if i tap into one door then the other door will not activate the led's. Also if i didn't solder them together then tap into both doors only the door that opens will have light, which i want both sides to light up regardless which door opens. I figured out the wires now trying to tap into the dome light and cigarette light onto a 3 way switch. This way i can have control of them door, off or on. Hope this works.....

Tapping to the dome light is the best way...imo. Thats how i did mines.
Why dont you take the dome light apart and tap into it from the backside....run the wires along the A-pillar and on the edges of the roof liner to the dome unit.

Im gonna tap into my dome light but i want the option of on, off and door activation. Problem with using the existing switch on the dome light is when it's in the on position you'll be driving around with the dome light on. Lxogood has wired a switch to control the LED's seperatly from the dome switch. I PM him but sounded like he had someone else do it and he's not sure how it was wired.

Installing that switch is really simple. Just get a SPDT switch. Connect the common contact to your underbody LEDs, tap into your dome light and connect that to the other contact, and finally connect 12V Battery or ACC if you only want to turn on your LEDs when you have the ignition on ACC. The switch will have 3 contacts.
