Anyone got directions on changing the wedge bulb thats located in the low beam part of the head lights??? I Love my HID's but the yellow glare from the wedge bulb is annoying. How do i get it out??

Thanks - John

the wedge is just at the top of the housing, from behind the housing you can just twist it off?

Thank You Guys for the help. i finally got them out and changed. for some reason the sealing gaskets made it so tight to twist. i just used a pair of pliars. Once Again Thanks, - John

Question yeah!!

yeah! hehe anyway i have another ? to pose. The DRL/Highbeam Bulb 9005/HB3... the stock wattage is something like 65 W. i ordered a pair of Nokya Arctic Whites to replace this, however the guy sent me the Stage II bulbs which are higher in wattage... 120 to be exact... im thinking that because DRL is running at half power... the brightness of the Nokya Bulbs will be very bright as DRL's i believe. it makes sense. anyway i was wondering if anyone else is running this set up .

simplified - Bulb DRL/High Beam HB3/9005

High Beam DRL
Stock = 65W 33W
Nokya = 120W 60W

Thats what i think at least. That way i wouldnt have to upgrade the harness

Thanks - John

well, instead of checking out the DRL, try to imagine when you use the high beam, you will be doing 120w on the stock 65w wire -- terrible idea. i will not do anything to the high beam to get the DRL to look "good"

and also, keep in mind, that means you will be running 65w on the wires all the time (during the day). that's a lot of loading on the wires.
