im looking to purchase an aftermarket HID kit for my 2000 GS300... i think im going to get the phillips 6000k kit. the cheapest i found it was $494 shipped from a web-site. can it be purchased any cheaper anywhere? and more importantly, are these lights street legal? thanks

hmmmm...its illegal to sell them now. 
You probably can find it from International sellers shipping to the US.
Some guy from Taiwan sells it on ebay....looks similar to the kit Jason (at Discountcycle) sold to us last year before the infamous ban.....i think its cheaper too.....than $494 shipped.
