Default 1st gen. low beam bulbs STUCK.

I got some Sylvania Cool Blue's for free and I tried installing them earlier. I was trying to get the halogen low beams out, but they seemed to be stuck. I tried to take out the high beams, and it was a piece of cake. For those of you that have changed your low beams on 1st gen., why are mine being STUCK?

Perhaps you're twisting the bulb holder in the wrong direction? The bulb should pop out easily.

Nah. I was twisting it the right way... and I also twisted it both ways to make sure. It was still STUCK either way. Argh. =/

you know they turn different direction than the highbeams right?

try pushing the bulb in further when you turn

Well I twisted it both ways and it didn't come out. When I twisted one way, the bulb move slightly, but not enough for it to come out. I guess I can try to push it in then twist.

mine were stuck kinda like yours, so i just twisted it with all my might becus it was going to throw away the old bulbs anyways. try that. and if it doesnt work then you can take out the whole headlight to get a good look becus thats pretty simple to do

I finally changed them, but I had to take out the whole headlight unit to get the leverage to take the bulbs out. Thanks to all for your help.

Haha. Got them for free. My friend w/ '02 Civic got 9006 instead of 9003.

So... instead of returning them, he gave them to me and he went out to get the 9003's.
