Yep. McLaren MP4 did a 1:34.5 with Randy Pobst. I am sure the LFA 'ring can top that without a problem with Scott Pruett or Akira Iida driving it.

Gosh! I want to see videos of all of those LFAs with all of their sounds.

Actually the ACR is the fastest, with a 1:33.92, but weve already seen the LFA NE beat it at the Ring

The MT time with Pobst was IMO meaningless (as any time battle), but the least they could have done was drive the car with the right tire pressures.

Hopefully videos come out and we can hear the train of those V10's wail!

The expression on Scott Pruett's face is priceless. A true class act.

I am glad Lexus has kept him at the center of the LFA promotion and driver events. He deserves all of that recognition.

Here's a pic of everyone lining up their LFAs for a photoshoot at the corkscrew that I posted to my twitter yesterday (this link is off twitpic and will expire at some point - I'll repost a full image later.)

As noted I was not able to ship my car to the event - I was mostly bummed about that because no other blue cars showed up. Unfortunately my travel schedule prevented me from being able to ship the car. I actually went straight from Laguna Seca to the airport for a red eye to the East Coast (I just now checked into my hotel) and then I'm headed off to Europe after this - so it would have been a few weeks before I could have picked up my car.

As expected, Lexus ran another top-notch event. It was good to see all the LFA product specialists, Scott Pruett, and many of the other LFA owners I had met before at other track events. It was nice to meet a couple owners from Texas I hadn't met before, and of course, I got to meet lunaC42 as well.

For the track sessions I opted for Lexus' #144 (the red one) since I hadn't driven it before. I partnered up with another owner who I knew from one of the Infineon Raceway LFA events. It was pretty hard to get free run with so many LFAs on the track and drivers with varying experience levels; the most run I got was about 1.5 laps before hitting traffic even with generous separation from the pit lane marshal, and we even caught up with a Nürburgring Package at one point - but that was to be expected since this was an owner meet rather than a driving school, and Laguna Seca was a blast to drive.

As additional goodies, Lexus arranged to have the IS F CCS-R from Pikes Peak and the LF-LC concept on hand. At the end of the day I opted for a hot lap in the CCS-R with Scott Pruett. I fired up my GoPro for that, so hopefully the video came out well and I'll post it on youtube. We did hit traffic but it should still be a pretty good video. I'll post up some other photos/videos I took too.

Oh yeah, and I'll admit that I was pleasantly surprised there were no incidents.

Thanks Gengar,

Looking forward to the video element of your experience.

We're you able go get a ride in a ring car?

Was the green car brought by the dealer in FL?
