Shoot, that is painful to watch. I want to unwatch it. :egads::mad:

Looks like either China or Singapore. Most likely Singapore as I have been to Singapore lots. It spun badly, but he kept the throttle nailed and then quickly lifted off as soon as the tail started to come out and swung the other way around headed into the curb.

Sad thing is, the car was attempting to correct it and then he suddenly yanked the steering to the right while lifting off the throttle (sudden rev death).

It’s in Singapore. 😞 Driver probably wasn’t paying attention to the bus while merging... The car can be temperamental especially with the stock tires. Overall, car isn’t totaled but it will be pricey to fix, especially in Singapore...😟

My heart sunk, when it started to loose control! Hope it gets fixed up, which maybe hard.

Actually, looked like the car was attempting to correct it, but he screwed it by panicking and yanking the steering to the right while lifting off the throttle (rev death means weight transfer to the front and the tail is easier to come around).

Full video including owner.

Apparently, it has been totalled.

The problem is Lexus kind of has to be on board with supporting the repair.

No idea if the tub is damaged but if so, say good bye to that one.

The immediate question is did that formally vertical light pole damage the A Pillar?

Money doesn't replace skills: over-correction!

Most likely, there was frame damage because it hit the curb very hard. The car is totalled as the document at the end of the video shows.

Is it wrong that all I could think about is how good it sounds accelerating?

Before I watched the Vid I was thinking it was like going to be some real challenging driving being done. How you lose a Super Car like that? Feel sorry for the Owner tho.

And yes the car seemed to be straightening out before the Driver unloaded the traction with the off acceleration and steering movements.

Someone grab it and put the motor in ISF OR RCF just dreaming :)

I visited Lexus Singapore showroom recently and was talking about this accident. Apparently it is not totalled, they are working on it.

That is great to hear. I read somewhere that it was totalled, but it is good to hear it will be restored.
