This and the "regular" N24 LFA is participating in the upcoming Nurburgring race on the 26th. The first race for the code x, so look out for that.

I hope this year the LFA Code X can run the entire race uninterrupted. The past few years have been slighty disappointing because of external forces that can't be helped.

This is big news! The LFA Code X is entered in this weekends race. Thats not the big deal, though. Check this entry list; http://www.vln.de/includes/download....014-04-26s.pdf Notice the class the Code X is in, VLN Specials PRO. Maybe this time the LFA Code X will try to challenge for the overall win.

LFA Code X competed in the SPPro class (GTE equivalent) and the LFA competed in the SP8 class for the VLN 3 race.

LFA Code X placed 67th overall, which clearly shows Lexus is only testing the waters and doing some fine tuning before unleashing the full potential in the upcoming races

Great news that Lexus is now competing for the overall championship and not just a restricted SP8 class.

SPPro isnt specifically a gte class. The LFA's had issues on track and both had to make a long stop. Not sure the exact issue. http://www.js-style.com/blog/2014/04..._code_x_1.html heres a blog from Juichi Wakisaka, he claims its "automotive seasoning" for a possible future car. A step beyond the LFA it seems.

Yes. It is detuned to meet racing restrictions and limited to 7500 rpm. It would actually be a lot faster than it is in this video (considering how it walks away from a GT3 Cup car, it already shows how fast it is).

Every engine in the top class is cut back by restrictors. Ill have to look at vln's site to see if they have the pdf of the cars specs.
