Slate Blue LFA (first "special" color I've seen)
 

Lexus has posted these pics of a slate blue LFA on its social media accounts. I will wait until higher res pics in sunlight to pass final judgment, but wow, I think it looks amazing.

I actually did consider this color briefly, although because I wanted my car as early as possible, special colors were not really an option. From the pic below, the color doesn't look nearly as feminine as I thought it would - and as many of the other good colors we've seen on the LFA, this Slate Blue appears very deep. Can't wait to see more pics!

Yeah this is the only pic i've seen of this car so far. It really looks like BMW's Laguna Seca Blue. Not sure if I like it or not.

Yeah, that is exactly what I thought. Laguna Seca Blue from E46 M3.

I like the other blue more. But, maybe it looks a lot nicer in real life?

gengar, compared to the color of your car, i would prefer yours. this lighter blue does make the car look softer than what it should be imho. but very interesting color though

yes, this is the only pic floating so far. it got to the port about a week ago i think, can't wait to see more pics of it

Ya, I'm definitely happier with mine. Even if all the special colors were available from the beginning, I would almost certainly still have picked Pearl Blue just based on the videos out there from the prototypes.

i have to say, after almost 2 yrs, the white is classy but it does that played out a little bit. i am still not feeling that much on red, black hides too much. pearl blue still looks super fresh and handsome

I'll reserve my judgement, but the color I've really been waiting for is Steel Gray.

Thanks for sharing! I do like the way it looks on the car, but I have to say gengar given the choice I'd pick your Pearl Blue over this one every time.

I like it a lot. I matches very well with the wheel colour.

That being said, the Pearl Blue is really the way to go. It pops in the sunlight and accentuates the lines excellently when it picks up light at night time.

I love the Silver on Silver car from one of these threads. Blue on Blue in the Australian article looks awesome as well. I think this blue will look better in the light and with some better pictures.
