FWIW I think this comparo is more of a subjective versus an objective test with the following hints.
EVO and most of the British magazines give cars a more comprehensive analysis. Check out the previous issue where the MP4-12C went against the F458. The McLaren won the numbers game, but the consensus was for the Ferrari. Surely makes it a more enjoyable read.

Surprised by the lack of comments around here, this is probably the highest praise the LFA has received in terms of wins or choice over some other exotic. To beat a Ferrari is amazing let alone one with the GTO badge.

Only if they had gotten the proper acceleration numbers and the Bedford Autodrome lap times for both cars, this would have been the most comprehensively definitive review for the LFA.

I am absolutely floored. I think this result is getting lost in the frenzy that is the debut of the GS, but I would have never expected that outcome. Wow. Good stuff Lexus. I wonder how the N'ring version compares to the standard in terms of overall experience?

Deserves a thread in car chat. What amazing praise. Seriously 5, 10, 20 years ago seeing or saying something like this would get you sent to the insane asylum.
I've had the pleasure of inspecting both cars and hearing both. They are both winners in my book. Lexus of course pays homage to Ferrari, there would be no LFA if companies like Ferrari did not pave the way.
That said, to read that EVO, one of the most respected automotive mags picks a Lexus over a Ferrari, ANY Ferrari, let alone a GTO.
I'm sure the LFA team is drunk off sake for the month. As a matter of fact, I'm going to heat some up now and join them.

Following that, they'll track down every copy of Issue #116 and destroy them all. Then probably kill the owners.
I mean, we already know Ferrari cheats in press tests, so I'm just extrapolating to what's next.
