A certain Canadian LFA is confirmed to be in production sometime in November 2012. So from the sound of this, assuming Lexus has been on schedule to produce 20 units/month, around 480 LFAs are ordered (24 months*20).
Also, if the Nurburgring Edition are only made after the regular LFAs run, then I think Lexus is very close to closing the book on all 500 cars.
Only one out of 10 Canadian units will be this special version.
By the way, Lexus is very secretive with the LFA's specs. I've placed a question to the factory regarding the exact weight of the ML system and the rear spoiler, and the first answer back was 'why do you want to know?'

Very excited for you! Aren't the Nurburgring editions scheduled for last 50 productions or is it only up to 50 Nurburgring editions if consumers demand?

I think it's up to because it would be hard to know how many would want this package since I think the major value is the membership to use the 'Ring.

I'm still waiting for some possible exciting announcement from our CL members...

on my side i am not sure about sales number. last i heard someone can still order the car and have delivery last this year or early next year. can't figure out lfa order system. but then again who knows, maybe lexus filled a lot of spots lately

Yes, it's not easy, but as you could read in the Lexus Work thread, that the craftsmen are continuously learning new things while building LFAs, my hope is that everything is at perfections by the time they get to the end of the production run. I think it's a good trade off.
