Thanks for all the nice comments. I was sold on the color combination since seeing the videos of an earlier prototype in this color at Fuji and certainly would pick the same color again.

Here's a pic from the first fillup (I cropped out a couple people just off frame to the left also taking a picture of the LFA ):

Still haven't hit rev limiter yet. I'll try to get a video of all the rpm limiter stuff. Maybe tomorrow.

Those will come in due time as I actually drive it more. I will say that the LFA has already well exceeded my expectations in terms of how it behaves on public roads.

Haha, I only did about 16 gallons or so, so not too bad even at today's prices. I also haven't gotten many chances to drive the LFA so only need infrequent fill-ups. The F feels like much more of a pain because of the frequent need for fillups since it's my DD and especially given only around 17 gal of total capacity. The LFA has a much bigger gas tank.

You figure out your LFA's weight? How big is the tank? What kind of fuel economy you think to see in 'normal' driving?

Haven't weighed it or anything. FWIW, the certificate of origin listed shipping weight as 3,344 - if this is an accurate actual shipping weight and given we know the LFA ships with all fluids full, this should reflect the car weight in operation.

As far as fuel economy - looks like I've gotten around 13-14mpg so far, although most of that has been highway cruising with only occasional rpm modulation.

Speaking of weight, I've received the detailed info on the ML/nav from the factory. The whole thing is around 12.1 Kg or 26.7 lbs.
I am still waiting for the details on the rear spoiler assembly.

Are people less excited to see you if you if you pull up in the F instead of the LFA?

could it be that the car hasn't been fully broken in? i thought the car is rated 14/20 or something like that?

3300lbs. ain't bad, lighter than the 3500+ we see in some publications. Then again, maybe thats a full tank or something, Keep us posted.

The EPA mpg on the sticker is 11/16.

I'd be surprised if they didn't ship the car with a full tank given the long transit time by sea. Of course, whether the shipping weight listed is an accurate representation of the actual shipping weight is a different story.
