^^ Tail lights look the same to me as well.... I doubt they have any reason to slightly smoke the them....
I thought the same too... Until I spent sometime with the LFA this past weekend..
The bottom side of the headlights are indeed Black on all LFA's..

If they were R's, they would be marked "RE070R"
Tires were DOT Manufactured stamped for the 41st week of 2010 (1st week of October) - "Made in Japan"

They are still superior to the S001's so that's all that really matters. Maybe they're specific to the LFA as well.
The GTR had specific RE tires as well. From TireRack it says that these are only available in 17" sizes. Must be special made for the LFA and GTR.
