From LexusEnthusiast:

Javier Quirós´ LFA arrived to Costa Rica today. Mr. Quirós is the president of Purdy Motor (Toyota Group distributor in the country) and also he was one of the Gazoo Racing Team drivers which had a great performance in Nurburgring (link) a few years ago. He has the opportunity to race with the LFA #14.

His LFA is red (code 3P0) and the interior is all in black leather with red stitches.

He invited some of his closest friends and closest employees to share with him the opening of the container in which the LFA traveled from Japan. We were very excited. When the container doors were open we saw the back of the LFA and we couldn’t say a word.

Lexus Japan sent the protocol to pull the car out of the container, and slowly the car began to show its stunning figure and great color. We still couldn’t believe the car that we had in front of us. SIMPLE AMAZING !!!!!!

Mr. Quirós requested to Mr Akio Toyota that his LFA must be the #14 in the production line, because during his life he have had a lot of racing cars and always use the #14.

Amazing color combo. The owner did not take long to have fun in his LFA haha. Man I'm so jealous seeing all of these LFAs getting delivered.

I think the light silver wheels look the most amazing. Maybe, I am in the minority, but that is how I feel. The silver LFA looks amazing with those polished sliver wheels.

In the other LFA delivery video, the LFA flashed both reverse lights when reversing but in the second video of this thread, the LFA only flashed the passenger side reverse light. You guys see that?

Yeah, I noticed that.

In the European version of the LFA, only one reverse light turns on. The other one is used as a fog light for autobahn.

In the US, there is no such requirement to have rear fog light so both are used for reverse lights.

Dark wheels for me, thanks. Nice Red though, beautiful color.

Very nice red, I agree. The dark wheels would have been a better option IMO, but these look decent with the red.

US customers actually had the option to have both lights as a reverse light, or one as a fog light

Awesome Video. I been to Costa Rica numerous times and I haven't seen one road that I would drive the LFA on. What I can also say is that almost everyone in the country drives a Toyota Corolla even the cab drivers. Ok back on topic awesome car.

Did he wind up getting one for his brother too?

Mr. Quirós requested to Mr Akio Toyota that his LFA must be the #14 in the production line, because during his life he have had a lot of racing cars and always use the #14.
This explains why he did not get the first production LFA. Quiros apparently first expressed a commitment to buy an LFA in 2001, before most of us had any idea about the car.

This color looks good both in and outdoor, but not as good up close. Darn it.
Back to topic, does this beautiful LFA count as part of US allocation?

Quiros' Costa Rica group is not under Lexus USA, so it shouldn't be part of our allocation.

Red looks real good on the LFA!

05RollaXRS 02-02-11 07:41 AM

I guess, we need to get a list going in which we will put the number, destination country and date recorded etc. As we come across new deliveries, we can keep updating that list.

He unleash the beast upon delivered ..............I like it, that how you drive a LFA :p.
