that's the first LFA in the US, owned by Roy Mallady. he's been trying to sell the car since beginning of the year, when he took delivery of #499, the last LFA in the US

wonder if dealership is trying to help sell the car or sold already

When he mentioned the owner has 2 LFA's I knew it was Mr. Mallady. He didn't mention whether or not it was for sale. I forgot to ask, I just wanted to get inside that car.

Interestingly, in the August Dupont Registry it appears that Roy has both LFAs up for sale. Actually he is selling one or the other. Which ever one sells, it indicates he will keep the other. The one in this thread is offered at $299K and #499 is offered at $399K. Man, I wish I had hit the lotto! Love the Steel Gray w/exposed CF roof. I could learn to live with the red interior. Plus its only a quick hop over to Atlanta from Charlotte.

wha!? that's very odd man, why would he want to sell the #499. almost sounds like he's desperate in trying to get rid of one of these cars. depending on the mileage the #499 sounds like a better deal. #003 has seen quite a lot of track time

Yeah seems really strange that he'd order both and want to sell either one. Think he mentioned in an interview or something that his wife was only going to let him keep one, and maybe that's the factor.

yup i remember that too. maybe that has something to do with it. but i were him, i would definitely hold on to the #499 no matter what and just price to sell #003

on another note, 299k for #003, seems like he lowered the price further more? i remember it was in the low 300k earlier this year. last i remember the car had around 3000 miles? i wonder how the market is now
