GTR is flat out awesome. As an aside, I like the Corvette Zo6 and ZR1 too but I like the styling of the GTR more.
I think his point is that you are buying a GTR for perfomance value, not much else. That's not the same shopper for the LFA so it's not a either/or scenario. LFA owner who is interested in performance likely already has a GTR or two in the garage.

For normal people like us, the GTR is probably just out of our reach in terms of price. But for someone who can reach an LFA, the GTR is like picking up a fast civic (easily affordable)

(still doesn't get me closer to finding out where the surprise is in this thread though)

^ lol...got it. Perhaps in 2015 w can get a 4-5 year old '10 GTR with fair miles for $40k or so. Now THAT would be a badass weekend car!

well...you do live in the "OC" so...obviously to you not much would turn your head. Cars like that are probably a dime a dozen or in fact maybe not even anywhere in your area because Ferrari and Lambo is the norm. Probably a go 80% of all other locations in the US...it would turn heads; it is a COOL CAR. That's my opinion and I'm stickin to it dammit! lol

^Not sure about that one. The ZR1 is nice, but that interior is just plain cheap. I hope the next Vette has something at least as good as a CHEAPER Cadillac CTS-V! But besides that, the Vette looks good. It's definitely lower and more sports car like than a GTR. The GTR isn't the normal Sports Car though. But neither is the LFA. While the LFA is besting times put down by Superleggera's and 458's, the GTR is besting times put down by maybe a Z06 or a 911turbo. While wearing semi-slick tires. Give the LFA some semi-slick tires and see what ballpark it shoots out of. It already has times comparable to Enzo's and Carrera GT's. It takes a stripped down Lamborghini and 911GT2 to hang with the PRE-PRODUCTION LFA. Let's see what this baby has to say when she's all finished.

Yeah right.... This would kick the LFA and GTR's butt. And turn more heads while doing it.
