Congratulations on your purchase, it is obvious you save your money for things that are truly important to you, and not what advertising tells you to send your money on.

Thankyou, I don't mind bringing my LFA to the meets at all. These are perfect excuses to drive the car, next to highspeed runs at tracks (but I need to borrow the IS for some driving lessons first ).

A hologram? That sounds cool.
According to the LFA rep, it was just pure luck that the distribution ended in this manner.

Hi Dave, Lexus USA/Canada retain the title of the cars for the first two years, but I am sure some of these left hand drive LFA's could end up back in Japan one day.

Very cool! There's a 1:1 scale LFA Crystallised Wind glass sculpture, and here a 1:20~ scale LFA glass block, nice display model.

Love the hologram. I've seen it at a couple dealerships and it looks great.

yeah me too. i would have thought toronto would get more than just 1 allocation of LFA. BUT there are lots of very rich people in vancouver, so getting the lion's share of the allocation is understandable.

to OP: and congrats on the LFA, looking forward to seeing pics and first person review of the car. we can only live vicariously through you now!

LFA distribution: 5 in Vancouver, 1 Calgary, 1 Windsor, 1 Toronto (me), 1 Ottawa, 1 Montreal.

LFA books was ordered by Lexus Canada at the beginning of the marketing program, so it looks like Lexus USA skipped this step.

The freight charge is now $5500, not 13K as previously mentioned.

As for my future LFA, I picked dark red exterior with white leather seats/black everything else. Light wheels with yellow brake calipers. I also selected ML sound system (max 1500 w output , no extra cost).
For parting gift, they gave me the glass/crystal block with the LFA hollowgram inside. That thing weighted a ton, and they would engave my car's serial number on the base once they have that info.
Wow only one in Toronto, that will truly make it a very rare car. Also one in many major cities, surprised at the allocation for Vancouver to be honest.

That's good that they lowered the freight charge at least.

The glass block looks great, and I think you made some great choices for your future LFA .

any pictures of the book? Would love to see them! Some people are selling LFA books on ebay but they're obviously just JDM brochures or something similar.

I wonder if any canadians will subject their lf-as to winter driving. Ive seen some canadians use some pretty crazy cars for everyday driving haha
