I'll agree wholeheartedly with you on this point, 1SICKLEX. Only Lamborghini can get away with chopping some weight off of a best-seller, with no real power gains, calling it the Superleggera, and selling it at a $40,000 premium. Or better yet, sending all the power to the rear (making the car virtually undriveable in a lot of conditions), adding some racing stripes, calling it the 'Valentino Balboni' in honor of one of its test drivers, and selling it at a 30% premium.

I'm not really sure but it could probably be from this one:
http://www.gtrblog.com/2009/02/25/ni...ircuit-laptim/

MY08 GT-R (JDM – December 2007 delivery): 1:01.888
MY09 GT-R (JDM): 1:01.343
SpecV GT-R: 1:02.4

And it was Keiichi Tsuchiya (the legendary drift king under the wheel).

Hence, why I asked as to why the Spec-V was slower than the original model. The weight reduction should have given the Spec-V an advantage over the regular model yet it failed to do so in this regard.

Hence maybe we can understand the reason why though.......

We'll have to wait and see how it fares on the Nurburgring before drawing any conclusions.

Yep, that's in Irvine right near the Spectrum. The bridge they crossed was the 405 freeway. Probably a Saturday morning after Cars & Coffee.

Compared to the LF-A, the GTR sounds like a Pathfinder with an exhaust leak.

The drift king probably slowed the time down by drifting, they need the guy who drove the 1st GTR to do the V-Spec

Not the best sound clip for an exhaust note, especially since the guys who was following had a loud exhaust, you can hear the LFA, but there are way better youtube clips, the GTR, is pretty quiet at traffic light rolling speeds
