I wonder if there will be a race car of the LFA??
Hi just wondering if anyone thinks there will be a LFA entered in the Japanese GT racing championship????

Yup, and it wouldn't be in Japanese GT either... it'd get skewered by the GT500 cars, and in fact maybe even the GT300s. They are tube framed, purpose built racers, not many production cars, no matter how special, can keep up with that type of machine.
Makes me wonder though, who is gonna make the first LFA replica, and on what chassis?

I dont see why not. They are making the car to compete with other super cars like Porsche and others. Most of the car is carbon fiber. So many other little things to consider I dont see why they wouldnt.

Well considering the LFA has competed in VLN races in 2008, 2009, winning in the 4 hr races and having a more difficult time in the 24 hr ones...perhaps we will see them compete again next year?

Why not? In Super GT, it's not like they would race a production LFA there. The GT-R that Nissan races in Super GT is highly modified from stock. Toyota could do the same if they raced an LFA there. Also racing the LFA in Super GT would be a far better idea than the current SC race car they have.
It's highly likely they will race the LFA again at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring race, and Toyota could easily race a modified LFA at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the GT1 class.

From my direct sources and the end of the Toyota F1 program...don't hold your breath.
