In light of a big move my family has planned for this summer, I have decided that right now it is going to be best for me to let go of my SC300 project car. Please look for my parts thread in the SC300 sub-forum coming soon. Parts will not be sold until the car is sold, and the buyer of the car will have first crack at purchasing any parts I have available. I have spent over $30k in parts preparing to build this car, so there will be a lot of brand new parts available for good prices.

Original 5-speed manual car

100k miles

I am the second owner (have driven less than 100 miles since bought in 2016).

Clean CarFax report, but the VIN tag is missing from the passenger fender.

Car will come with OEM MKIV Supra wheels (brand new tires) and seats. Original SC seats and wheels are gone and not available.

Comments on the car and known issues:

• Car shifts with no grinds, but is notchy. Recommend a fluid change by next owner. I had planned on a R154 swap so this was a non-issue for me.
• Radiator needs to be replaced as there is a crack in the top plastic end tank. I used some JB weld to patch it for driving around town. Parts to replace this with a Supra Mishimoto radiator are available to purchase in addition to purchase price.
• Driver door hinge needs to be adjusted, as it catches on the fender
• Cluster needs to be rebuilt, backlight is out on part of the tachometer.
• I believe the airbag light is still on from installing the GS 3-spoke steering wheel and airbag - this just needs to be cleared.
• Car needs some paint & body work. Everything looks good from 5 ft. away but the front bumper has some spider webbed and cracked paint. Also a good dent in the passenger quarter panel.
• I had started to remove the rear subframe for a complete rebuild. I believe I threw away one of the OEM traction bars, so I will include brand new Powerhouse Racing Arced Rear Traction Bars in the sale ($315 value)
• OEM cat-back exhaust needs to be reinstalled if the buyer wants to try driving the car back home. I have only ever driven the car around town, so I cant guarantee this thing is ready for a cross-country road trip. I recommend coming and getting it with a trailer the same as I did.

My asking price is $5,300 firm. I got a good deal on the car when I bought it, and this sum represents my cost of the car + seats and wheels which came from Titan Motorsports. I will not entertain offers for less, so please do not contact me with offers for less. If the car is not sold by the time I move to Florida, I’ll take it with me.

This is a great deal on an unmolested car….not many of these left out there. I have owned several (more than I can count) SC’s and told myself that I would never sell it. But circumstances change, and between a move and my second son being born this summer I simply don’t have time for this project for the foreseeable future.
