2003 Lexus GS430
After 7.5 years of blissful ownership, I have decided to put my 2003 GS430 up for sale. I'm starting a new business that requires a truck, and as much as I would love to hang on to my GS, I have a greater need for capital than an extra car at the present time.
This Millennium Silver Metallic beauty comes equipped with every option offered in 2003: Navigation, wood/leather steering wheel, rear spoiler, 17-inch 7-spoke chrome wheels, and Mark Levinson stereo.
A brief history of the car: the previous owner lived near me in Raleigh, NC, and used it as a commuter car. The car was garaged and covered at night. I searched for nearly 12 months before finding this one. I specifically wanted a MSM car, and this one checked all the boxes for me. I've been detailing cars for over 30 years, so maintaining the appearance was no problem. The car is visually stunning, with very few defects in the paint.
I performed the oil changes to the car over the years, and have a mechanic that performed the other necessary repairs. Mechanically, it is very up to date.
In the last 10,000 miles:
New Megan Racing coilovers (installed by forum member straight6)
TRD sway bars
New sway bar bushings
New sway bar end links
New ball joints
New control arms
In the last 1,000 miles:
Complete timing belt service (belt, tensioner, water pump, thermostat, coolant) performed by a Toyota Master Tech at his shop
8 new Denso Iridium plugs
The engine is stock, except for a drop-in K&N air filter.
The current mileage is 204,000 though you would be hard pressed to tell by looking. The car performs beautifully, and averages a consistent 18 city/ 25 highway on 93 Octane Costco gas.
Cons:
Some rock chips in the front bumper
Blend door actuator is starting to make noise, but a/c functions as normal
Passenger door lock actuator is bad
There is a seam on the driver's seat that has separated (about where your lower back is when you are sitting in the seat). It hasn't gotten any worse over the last 2 years.
The vehicle was involved in a very low-speed (15 mph) collision 2 years ago. The rear bumper was replaced, and the bumper/deck lid/spoiler were repainted. I have pictures of the aftermath. The car was able to drive under its own power afterwards, and no air bags went off. Title is clean.
Car comes with two keys, owners manual, and a set of front OEM Lexus floor mats that are still in the plastic. Also, the spare tire is the original spare from the factory, with a 7-spoke wheel. It's never been on the ground.
I'm still driving the car, so the mileage may increase slightly, though I think in the last 6 months I may have added 1,000 miles to the total. The car is currently wearing 2 coats of Wolfgang Sealant. All glass is factory Lexus except for the windshield. This car has always been adult-owned (previous owner was 55, I was in my mid 40s when I bought it) and has never been driven hard. I have hundreds of pictures, so let me know if you need to see a different angle.

Forgot to mention three things, proof that I shouldn't post an ad after getting 3 hours of sleep....haha.
1. Fluids (brake, power steering, and rear differential) were all changed within the last 10,000 miles
2. Michelin Pilot Sports have less than 9,000 miles on them
3. Right rear wheel bearing was changed at the same time timing belt service was done, less than 1,000 miles ago

I feel there is always a market for extremely clean, very well-maintained performance cars. It's easy to keep a car clean, but it's difficult to bring one back that has been badly trashed.

Still available at the moment.
I have one forum member who made me an offer yesterday which I've countered, but I have not heard from them as of yet.
Here's a link I meant to post with a few other interior shots, etc.

Life has gotten in the way the last six months, and I have not had much time to dedicate to selling my GS430. One last price drop before I turn this car over to my 18 year-old....
Car currently has 206,xxx on the odometer. I'm willing to apply a ceramic coating (McKee's 37) to the vehicle for any buyer. The finish is always swirl-free on this car, so a ceramic coating would be a huge benefit to anyone who cannot garage this car.
$4800
