Hello Everyone:

This time I'm really parting ways with my beloved SC!!! I'm going to try to remember all the work I've done to it and be 100% honest in what it needs. The pictures below are 4.5 years old without a couple dents that it now has. The most important part is that I did a full head-gasket replacement on it including peripheral components while in there (water pump, serpentine belt, timing belt, etc). I'm 100% sure I'll forget all that I've done to it, but I can say this, the car was maintained extremely well. Oh, also clean title and smogged til the end of 2019!

There are absolutely ZERO generic bs parts in this car - everything is OE spec or OEM as possible. I took very good care of her mechanically and will give you 0 problems on your commute or long distances. The motor and car does NOT leak any fluids nor does it burn oil. This is one excellent car.

New parts/repairs include:
Full tune up including all brand new OEM parts installed:

• Four (4) BRAND NEW tires mounted and balanced about 100 miles ago - yes, they're brand new.
• Full alignment completed and runs like its on rails
• Brand new AC DELCO battery
• PAID REGISTRATION for 2019 – stickers included. Inspection good until 2020 (All this is VERY important to CA residents).
• Timing Belt done in 2018
• Aisin Water Pump Kit with metal gaskets including all related components (hydraulic tensioner, idler and tension bearing)
• Thermostat and gasket replaced
• Brand new OEM Denso radiator (Part No. 221-3118)

Full tune up completed:

• NGK (6402) TE120 Spark Plug Wire Set
• NGK (3440) BKR5EP-11 Laser Platinum Spark Plug (Though I think now I have the OEM Denso's in there)
• Beck Arnley 174-7013 Distributor Cap
• Beck Arnley 173-8002 Ignition Rotor
• NEW front rotors and ceramic pads
• Spectre Air Filter (K&N style)
• NEW OEM Denso Oxygen Sensors (Air and Fuel Ratio Sensors)
• New Denso Knock Sensor (check engine light is on for this but it did not fix it)
• ECU repair conducted by Tanin (as seen in previous posts)
• Passenger window motor replaced
• Fresh oil and filter change about 400 miles ago

In the interest of full disclosure I will point out the flaws. There is one dent (as pictured below) and two others I need to take a pic of and upload. The speedometer doesn't show the accurate speed. The ODO states 108k or so but that stop accruing miles correctly 4 years ago (though it does add when driving below 40 which is what I primarily drive so its close). That said, for the past 3.5 years, I've walked to work and estimate the mileage to be anywhere from 130 to 140k but I do not know for sure. There is also an intermittent misfire after I did the head gasket that I could never get to the bottom of. The car still runs fine and powerful but the misfire does come intermittently at idle (only in drive - putting in neutral will stop the misfire) and at a certain rev range if steady at around 35mph which is never the case. Push it past that speed and its gone. Engine and Trans are still fearsome though.

I've spent over $2,000 in the car this past year so please, no low ballers! The car needs nothing to run well. Does it have some quirks and dents? Sure, but it is the original 1992 model. Does it still run better than most crap new cars and wont leave you stranded? Absolutely. Not looking to make any sort of profit or anything, just looking for the car to go to a good home. I'll be leasing my first brand new car soon (first new anything in this life).
