Overall, this car is in excellent shape. It had all maintenance done by the dealer until I purchased it 18 months ago. Since then I’ve put almost 50,000 trouble free miles on the car. A friend is a Lexus tech, and it’s been fixed with OEM or better quality components.
I did replace the front suspension bushings, the engine mounts, radiator, and the passenger mirror since I’ve had the car. I consider all of these wear items (well, okay maybe not the passenger mirror). Otherwise it’s just been oil changes, brakes, and tires. I’ve used all Mobil 1synthetic in it. The transmission fluid was changed at ~125k, and it shifts much better since then. I wouldn’t hesitate to get in and drive it across the country. It does have a hidden radar detector in it; that was installed by the previous owner, and no, I don’t know all the ins and outs of it.
Couple minor things; rear vanity mirror doesn’t like to open. Radar cruise sensor was hit by a rock; radar cruise no longer works. I didn’t use it anyway, so it never got fixed. Front bumper was replaced after hitting a rubber re-tread in the road. Rear bumper has some road rash. Couple of door dings on it. This is a 12 year old vehicle. It’s not perfect; but unless you’re a car guy; you’re going to guess it’s 2-3 years old. Seriously. Looks that good. Just detailed and waxed; and it looks great.
This is a beautiful car. Truly is. I’m going to miss her when she’s gone. Drives great, and if the budget would allow, I’d keep this one and the new truck; but that’s not in the cards.
Offered at $11,000, with all records since I’ve purchased.
